Asuna Ichinose, call sign Zero-One (01), is a character from Blue Archive, a popular mobile RPG developed by Nexon Games. She is a member of the Cleaning & Clearing (C&C) Club at Millennium Science School, known for being the most energetic and upbeat member of the club. In the "Bunny Chasers on Board" event, Asuna dons a bunny suit, adding a playful charm to her character while maintaining her eager-to-help personality. This figure was officially released by Max Factory in July 2023, capturing her bunny suit appearance in stunning detail.

The packaging for this figure is nothing short of spectacular. Unlike most figure boxes, this one functions as a display case, featuring a clear plastic front and sides rather than a standard cardboard window. The top lid has a circular cutout, acting as a skylight to provide a top-down view of the figure. The small cardboard sections on the sides showcase official photos of the figure. Inside, the background design resembles a casino setting, fitting the theme perfectly.

The figure is packaged in four separate pieces—the full figure, the stool stand, Asuna's halo, and the base. The arrangement keeps everything secure while maintaining a clean and elegant presentation from the outside.

Before talking about the figure, we should talk about the base first. The base is a circular trapezoid platform featuring white fur on top and wood laminate finish on the sides. This combination gives it a luxurious aesthetic, complementing Asuna’s bunny suit theme. Although I really love the quality of it, personally I would have prefer if it did not have the fur since I do not have the time to clean my collection on a weekly basis.

Max Factory did a phenomenal job on the sculpt, perfectly translating Mx2J’s character design into 3D form. The figure adopts a static pose, staying true to its original artwork reference. Despite this, Asuna’s personality shines through in her facial expression and relaxed body language. Her happy-go-lucky attitude is captured flawlessly in her cheerful smile and bright eyes. The way she sits slightly on the stool’s edge conveys a welcoming and carefree demeanor, reflecting her eagerness to assist others, especially her beloved Sensei.

The sculpting on Asuna’s hair is particularly impressive, with fragile yet highly detailed strands at the tips. A unique feature is the halo, which attaches via a small socket in the back of her head, creating the illusion of a floating halo. The sculptor even included subtle details like the small mole on her chest, a reference to the artwork that isn’t visible in-game. One of the areas that draws my attention is where Asuna's hand is resting on the stool. Chieri paid extra attention to detailing creases on the cushion, adding realism.

The paint job is exceptional, staying true to the artwork’s colors. The most eye-catching feature is the light blue body suit, Asuna’s signature color, which is finished with a glossy coating. The white gloves and heels have a similar shine, while the stockings feature a semi-gloss finish, creating a pleasant contrast.

This figure stands out whether displayed alone or with other bunny figures. However, when using the base, it occupies a considerable amount of space. Even without the base, Asuna’s design and color scheme make her an eye-catching centerpiece in any collection.

As a fan of Millennium Science School’s C&C Club, seeing Asuna get her first figure in a bunny suit was incredibly exciting. My favorite aspect of this figure is how Chieri’s sculpt captures every detail from the original artwork, making it a faithful and stunning representation of Asuna. The only drawback is that the fur-covered base is beautiful, but requires careful maintenance. If not cleaned regularly, the white fur can easily collect dust and dirt, diminishing its pristine appearance.

Max Factory delivered an outstanding figure with exceptional sculpting, painting, and packaging. Asuna’s personality shines through in her expression, outfit, and posture, making this a top-tier addition to any collection. For Blue Archive fans and Asuna lovers, this figure is a must-have. For bunny figure collectors, this piece is a high-quality addition that complements other figures in the series. For new collectors, I suggest considering Good Smile Company’s smaller-scale Asuna Bunny figure, Game Playing Ver. It offers excellent quality at a lower price point and pairs well with their Karin Kakudate Game Playing Ver. bunny figure, making for a great display at a more affordable cost.

Overall, this Asuna Ichinose Bunny Girl figure by Max Factory is an exquisite collectible that captures the charm and elegance of the character perfectly. If you’re a fan, she’s absolutely worth adding to your collection!
